2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid

2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid

2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid comes as a slightly redesigned hatchback with the improved electric engine and great new details on the chassis, all offered in two trim versions. Even though there are no many changes in the design of the car, novelties that manufacturer offers in the cabin and new electric engines should be good enough for the future buyers to choose it.

Exterior

2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid review
The front end of the car has recognizable and famous rhomboidal grille with grids in chrome. It should be slightly rounded now, with maybe modernized and stylized edges. The rear end is short and rounded, with also redesigned lights and soft edges, but long enough to provide space for the cargo. However sloped roof and lowered trunk door show slightly lowered roof for the passengers in the third row, but that should not be a problem thanks to the wider cabin and well-designed seats. In some details, it looks like the Ford Fusion Hybrid.

Interior

There are few interesting novelties inside of the cabin of the 2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid. First of all, it should have 8-inch and 10-inch touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard with practical buttons layout. The dashboard looks similar to the current one, with large center cluster and great chromatic wide lines around it. Below them are wide air vents and details in leather and plastic. The cabin should be a 7-seat model with a wide space between the seats.

Engine

The hybrid engine in 2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid surely comes as improved version of the hybrid models that currently exist on the market. According to rumors, it could be 7.4 kWh in lower trim and in higher trim 7.6 kWh lithium-ion batteries that come with a 240-volt electric battery for charging. It should be able to drive much longer per charging that before and surely longer than the competition, which is the first manufacturer’s goal. The electric unit should come in combination with the 2.0-liter petrol unit. Numbers say that it could be driven 39 miles per charging and future models could increase that number to 95 miles per charging.

2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid Release Date and Price

It is expected that 2020 Ford C-Max Hybrid hit the market at the end of 2019, with possible versions that could be found on some markets and saloons a few months before that. The price should start at $26,000 but predictions say that it could be higher than $30,000 with all equipment. It is expected that after 2020 C-Max will be replaced with E-model especially made for Europe. Since the manufacturer offers only two trims, it does not look bad for the future buyers.
