Exterior

In the front, most of the change is the grille, which is now a hexagonal upper grille, instead of the trapezoidal underbitish grille that was before. It helps a lot on highway speed for airflow. On the low side id a fog lights, along with a turn signal which is also placed on the big side mirrors. On the back, the lift gate appears wider and the tail lamps have a blockier shape. We can add to these performances that there are a big 19 inch wheels, which complemented an image of the fine looking car.

Interior

As from the first model of this SUV and the 2017 Ford Escape can praise with a lot of space in order to increase comfort. The parking brake is now electronic, which leave us a lot of space for armrest and cup holders. The steering wheel is also redesigned and with a lot of helpful switches. New kind of designed for the switches on the climate control make the system easier to adjust. Best of all is probably an SYNC 3 system, as a standard in this vehicle. It offers a more sensible, intuitive, and quick-reacting interface, with pinch-to-zoom map on a big 8.0 inch TFT monitor and with voice recognition. Engine

In the 2017 Ford Escape are offered three different types of engine. Standard 2.5 liter DOHC 16-valve inline-4 engine, with a 168 HP and 170lb/ft of torque. Second is a turbocharged and inter-cooled 1.5 liter DOHC 16-valve inline-4 engine, with a 179 HP and 177 lb/ft of torque. And the third model of engine is a stronger 2.0 liter turbocharged and inter-cooled DOHC 16-valve inline-4 engine, with 245 HP and torque of 275lb/ft. Transmission in all these models is 6-speed automatic with manual shifting mode. Top speed is 120 MPH and accelerates from 0-60MPH in 7.0-9.3 sec. Fuel economy depends on the model and it can be from 20-23MPG in the city and up to 27-30 MPG on the highway.2017 Ford Escape
