According to the information our team has got, the third generation of the well-known Ford Everest is on its way to hit the roads as a 2019 model. The new 2019 Ford Everest will undergo some minor changes and improvements in terms of design and it will offer some new engine options under the hood.
The next-generation 2019 Ford Everest is going to make its appearance as a muscular and powerful SUV suitable for either your family trips or off-road adventures. This fully-framed SUV will combine aluminum and steel in its chassis and although being so massive and solid and having large dimensions, this truck might save some weight with this new model. Also, it will be significantly raised off the ground so it will be able to face with various types of challenging terrains and conditions. When it comes to exterior features, the new Everest will get a wider chrome plate grille in its front fascia as well as large LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights. You will also notice a wide air intake in the massive bumper. In the back part of the vehicle, there will be a mounted spoiler and the LED taillights. The new Everest will be standing on 18-inch alloy wheels and optional 20-inch. The trunk is expected to improve its towing ability, off-road performance and overall handling.
Inside the 2019 Ford Everest, you will find a spacious and modern cabin that will offer either two or three rows of seats for five or seven adult passengers. The interior will provide a lot of headroom and legroom. The seats will be covered in premium leather, be power-adjustable and offer heating and ventilating options, at least in higher trims. The driver will get an 8.0-inch touch-screen display with the SYNC 3 infotainment system and options such as navigation, satellite radio, dual-zone climate control, audio system, Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Safety systems and driver assist features will be included as well. Some of them are adaptive cruise control, airbags, a rearview camera, active park assist, lane-keeping assist, ABS and ESP.
Three options have been considered when it comes to engine that the 2019 Ford Everest will be using under its hood. The first one includes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Eco Boost that delivers 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The other one, diesel option, comes with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder that produces 150 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. The final uses a 3.2-liter five-cylinder engine with 200 horsepower and 347 pound-feet of torque, like in 2019 Ford Transit. The engines will be mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
