It was expected that Ford will change something in their F-series since the last version of it was released in 2018. Now we have 2020 Ford F250 Diesel Super Duty as a new version of the model with many changes and many similarities with the other models in the series. The only model that should not be much changed is Ford F-150. However, this is the expected step now when other Super Duty vehicles have been changed or it is supposed to be next year. One of them is Ford’s main competitor Chevrolet Silverado HD 1500.
As we were able to see on spy photos, 2020 Ford F-250 Diesel Super Duty comes with changed twin-double grille, which is flat and one-piece now. In the middle of it stand impressive Ford’s logo and perhaps some chromatic details around it. The lights on the front and rear end are redesigned and modernized, and we expect more sculpted edges of the ends and bumpers. There should be offered two options, as regular and a crew cab, with almost 20 feet of length as a difference between them.
It is obviously still not possible to even imagine how the inside of 2020 Ford F-250 Diesel Super Duty will look like. According to old models, it should be a roomy and spacious cabin with comfortable seats and a lot of space for the passengers inside. However, we are not sure in technology that will be changed, so stay with us for the new information.
There are a few interesting changes in the engine of 2020 Ford F-250 Diesel Super Duty, but some of the well-known engines remain in this model, too. One of them is 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel engine, that produces 385 horsepower of strength and even 950 pound-feet of torque (for 15 pound-feet of torque more than before). Along with that, the manufacturer has announced the new V8 diesel engine with 475 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. As you can see, it is much stronger than the old diesel model. The ten-speed automatic transmission F-250 shares with Chevrolet Suburban RST, GMC Yukon Denali, Cadillac Escalade, and one of the main F-250 competitors Lincoln Navigator.
