2020 Ford Flex

2020 Ford Flex comes as a slightly upgraded model from the last year version. This old-fashioned wagon-like SUV with seven seats in the cabin surely attract attention. That is the reason why the manufacturer has decided to retain this model for at least one year more. Unfortunately, there are rumors that it could be the last year for this model’s presence on the market.

2020 Ford Flex review

There are no many changes in the design of 2020 Ford Flex from the last model. Aiming to be closer to Land Rover Discovery, it has recognizable and maybe a little boring squared shape. The flat roof could be made of the quality panel in higher trim. The front end is also simple and flat, with the wide grille and squared front lights. The rear end is flat and includes small rear lights on the trunk door.

Being a squared boxy wagon-like SUV, 2020 Ford Flex obviously has a wide cabin with the high roof. The cabin has three rows of the seats, with a lot of space between for the adult passengers. When it comes to the equipment, it is for sure that some of the last year additional equipment will come as standard in this version. On the other hand, technology in higher trims should undergo few upgrades. Other things should be almost the same as on last year model.

The engines that will be offered in 2020 Ford Flex are simple but functional and economic. It should be two version of the classical 3.5-liter V6. The smaller and a standard option has the strength of 290 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Another version should have the strength of 365 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Not only that this is a faster engine, but it is also stronger, too. According to the manufacturer, it could tow 4,500 pounds.

2020 Ford Flex Release Date and Price

We are sure that you have been surprised with all interesting things and novelties that manufacturer offers with the new 2020 Ford Flex and you should be. However, there are so many models and vehicles in the wagon and SUV class that Flex simply has too many models to compete with. Maybe that is the reason for possible withdrawal of the model for 3-5 years as rumors claim. The manufacturer could focus on two similar models Lincoln MKC and Ford Edge that had much more buyers and fans in past few years. However, that is not confirmed information yet, so we will not calculate with it for now. When it comes to the price, Flex should cost around $32,000 which could be more with all equipment, even $45,000.
